Run by Neels and Anné-Lize – two energetic people who love life – Skeiding Guest Farm is one of those places you will fall in love with for no reason. Maybe it’s the absolute peace and tranquillity or the panoramic views of the Langeberg Mountains. Perhaps it is the bright stars at night or the mouth-watering food. Or it could be the serenity of being close to nature. We believe it is the combination of these reasons that will make you want to come back again and again…
Skeiding is situated on high, open, rolling terrain where you’ll experience the feeling of freedom and peaceful isolation with no neighbour in sight – the perfect way to escape the humdrum of life. With 6 En-suite rooms and 3 Family Cottages, every traveller will feel at home when visiting this piece of Africa.
Not only is Skeiding Guest Farm a working grain, sheep, ostrich and Nguni farm, but also offer activities for the whole family, an education for city slickers and a place to recharge your batteries whilst enjoying panoramic mountain views.
Spoil yourself and stay Bed & Breakfast or even better, have dinner. Enjoy home cooked country cuisine prepared by Anné-Lize and her small team of able and enthusiastic assistants. Neels is the meat “chef” on the open fire, unless farm work calls him away. A three-course menu is served every evening at the family dining table. Or you can simply unwind next to your own fire and stay self-catering.
It’s considered the ideal stopover on a journey to or from the Garden Route – but you’ll most likely end up wanting to stay an extra night or three.
